Profile

Majority of my clinical work both in NHS and Private practice are related to facial plastic surgery including rhinoplasty, nasal reconstruction and skin cancers. Rhinoplasty (nose cosmetic surgery) is performed for those who have cosmetic and/or nasal airway problems, often this could be secondary to trauma or those who are self-conscious about the shape of their nose and wish to improve the appearance of the nose.

I lead one of the busiest nasal reconstructive service in the UK and a significant part of my workload is dedicated to nasal reconstructive surgery for patients who have nasal skin cancer. This is complex surgery which often requires several stages.

I am a member of British Facial Plastic Surgery UK (BSFPS), European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), British Rhinology Society and British Association of Otolaryngology Society (ENT-UK). I have published papers in peer reviewed journals and presented in national and international meetings. I am an international board secretary for Indian Society for Facial trauma, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Otolaryngology Society (ISFARO) and also an honorary visiting faculty member in Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, India.

I have a passion for teaching and training future generation doctors. I am an Honorary Lecturer at Edge Hill University and a faculty member on various courses and workshops including Manchester Advanced Rhinology and Facial plastic course.
